What Types of Products are Available?

Private Passenger Auto
This is your personal-use vehicle, which may be used for pleasure, commuting, personal business, etc.
Classic
This is a vehicle that is between 15 - 30 years old and in good condition. It has collector value and is not used for commuting.
Antique
This is a vehicle that is more than 25 years old and used strictly for show purposes. It should be plated with an historical vehicle licence plate.
Motor Home
This is a vehicle designed for recreational accommodation and is not a principal residence.
Recreational
These are off-road, 4-wheel All-Terrain Vehicles, snowmobiles, and personal-use utility or camper trailers.
Auto Discounts Available
We offer discounts for Dual Policy, Multi-Vehicle and Graduated Driver Training.

Your Savings

We offer you a variety of ways to save even more on your premiums, if you:

have completed driver training;
are aged 65 or older, licensed a minimum of 20 years, and no at-fault accidents in the past 6 years;
are retired (Ontario only);
have insured more than one private passenger automobiles with The Dominion or Chieftain;
are an occasional driver under the age of 25, who has limited access to the insured automobile while attending school, college or university; or
have insured both your personal property and automobile policies with The Dominion or Chieftain (where applicable).
